Half & Full Marathon Programs

DISTANCE TRAINING

We train for a variety of races and distances throughout the year. The programs meet for coached group workouts twice per week and last 19-weeks.  

Groups Meet: Thursday Evenings @ 6:15pm (speed work) & Saturday Mornings @ 6:30am (long runs)
 

Napa Valley Marathon

Work you way fit through the Holidays by training for a marathon! Training for the Napa Marathon will begin November 19, 2011 and go through March 4, 2012. This is a 15 week intermediate training program. You should be able to cover 10 miles comfortably in order to join the class.

  • Class meets Saturdays at 6:30 AM and Thursdays at 6:15 PM

 Shamrockn' Half

Start off the new year by training with us for Shamrock'n Half Marathon! This is a beginner half marathon training program and expects participants to be able to cover 5 miles fairly comfortably as we will begin the training with a 6 mile long run. All Participants will receive Brooks/Fleet Feet swag, gels for the long runs, 2 coached runs per week, pre-mapped courses and most importantly lots of fun!

Sunrise Half  
 
Take advancge of a local race, enjoy the sunrise as you run for summer by training for Fiesta Days half marathon & 10K.  
The half marathon program is designed for those who have run one or more half marathons and are currently able to run 6 miles. It is a shorter, more intensive program due to a lot of hill training, if you want something a little more on the beginner side, take a look at Nike Women's or Urban Cow training. 
The 10K training is an intermediate program designed to help you improve your 10K time. You should be able to cover 4-6 miles comfortably to join. If you are a beginner 10K runner, you can look into our Turkey Trot or Loop the Lagoon 10K programs as well.

  • Class meets Saturdays 6:30 AM and Thursdays at 6:15 PM @ Fleet Feet
  • Program cost: $85

Race Day: Saturday May 19, 2012.

 
Nike Women's Marathon & Half Marathon
2012: The Half Marathon Program is even "beginner" than what we typically offer. The first long run will be 4 miles, so hopefully this group will be achievable for a wider range of athletes.
 
Important Date:
  •  Dates: July 14- October 14
  • 12 Week program
  • Group will meet Saturdays 6:30 AM and Thursdays at 6:15 PM
  • Cost for the class is $115 for the Full Marathon & $85 for Half Marathon

 Race Day: Sunday October 14, 2012

 Urban Cow

 Info:  Get ready for Urban Cow half marathon with our training group and enjoy cool morning runs to stay fit for swimsuit season! To join this class you should be able to cover 5 miles reasonably well so our first long run of 6 miles won't be too challenging for you. Grab a friend and join us for all sorts of fun! All participants will receive Fleet Feet swag, energy gels for training, 2 coached runs a week, training schedules, pre mapped courses and more!

  • Dates: July 28-October 7, 2012
  • 11 Week program
  • Class meets Saturdays 6:30 AM and Thursdays 6:15 PM
  • Half Marathon Program cost: $85

CIM (California International Marathon)

 
Join us towards the end of the year to train for CIM marathon! This program is 20 weeks so it is perfect for that person who has run a few half marathons and wants to step it up to the next level! You must be able to cover 10 miles in order to begin the training. This group trains for the California International Marathon in Sacramento on December 2, 2012. It is a great course with a net downhill making it perfect for your first race!

  • Dates: July 28- December 2, 2012
  • Class meets Saturdays at 6:30 AM and Thursdays at 6:15 PM
  • Marathon Program cost $125
  • 18 week program

Race Day: December 2, 2012
