5K/ 10K Programs

BEGINNER'S FITNESS AND 5K/10K PROGRAMS

Fleet Feet Sports is offering a 10-week No Boundaries training program for beginners hoping to run or walk their first 5K race or improve their time. The purpose of the program is to introduce participants to the lifetime fitness activities of running and walking and to encourage them to live healthier lifestyles. It is a "couch to 5K" program so anyone is welcoem to join! Take control and get fit this summer.

 Beginning running groups are held throughout the year. The classes meet for coached groups workout twice per week and last 10-14 weeks depending on the program.

Loop the Lagoon                             

The Details: 

  • Training Dates: February 7 - April 28 2012 
  • Informational Meeting: February 1
  • Registration: Open until February 7th
  • Class Meets: Tuesdays at 6:30PM and Saturdays at 8:30AM  at the Store
    Program cost: $85

Sunrise Run

Take advancge of a local race, enjoy the sunrise as you run for summer by training for Fiesta Days.  
 
The 10K training is an intermediate program designed to help you improve your 10K time. You should be able to cover 3 miles comfortably to join. If you are a beginner 10K runner, you can look into our Turkey Trot or Loop the Lagoon 10K programs as well.
Things You Should Know:
  • Dates: March 17- May 19 2012
  • Registration: Class meets Saturdays 6:30 AM and Thursdays at 6:15 PM @ Fleet Feet
  • Program cost: $85
  • Race Day: Saturday May 19, 2012.

Lagoon Valley Trail Run 

The Details:

  • Dates:  June 26- September 15, 2012
  • 12 Week program
  • Informational Meeting: June 20 @ 6 pm
  • Registration: to be announced
  • Class Meets: Tuesdays at 6 PM and Saturdays at 8 AM at Lagoon Valley
  • Program cost: $85

Urban Cow 5K training

 Solano Turkey Trot 

What better way to kick start the holidays than by joining Fleet Feet Sports for No Boundaries, a 10-week training program for beginners hoping to run or walk their first 5K or 10K race or improve their time. The purpose of the program is to introduce participants to the lifetime fitness activities of running and walking and to encourage them to live healthier lifestyles. The 5K is truly a beginner program, so if you can walk, you can join our class! The 10K class expects you to be able to cover 3 miles, but we don't care how fast or fit you are! Come down and get fit with us!
