Lagoon Valley Park and Open Space in Vacaville is host to several local running races and cross country meets. The 470 acre park has 20 miles of single track and fire road trails for runners and hikers of all abilities. The park includes low lying paved and dirt trails around the lake and trail climbs to the 970’ scenic peak. Restroom and picnic facilities available. The main entrance is located at Pena Adobe Road off Interstate 80 in Vacaville.

Rockville Hills Park in Fairfield offers 600 acres of open space grassland and wild oaks with 30 miles of groomed, single track and fire road trails. No restroom facilities. From Highway 80 in Solano County, exit Suisun Valley Road (exit 41, just before you get to Fairfield). Turn north on Suisun Valley Road. Drive about 1.5 miles on Suisun Valley Road, then turn left onto Rockville Road at the traffic light. Drive about 0.7 mile, and turn left into the parking lot.
