MEET OUR STAFF:
Mary has been with us since September of 2006. She is a former Master’s track world and American record holder. She loves running short and fast and if you ask her about running a full marathon she will quickly tell you it’s not for her, though you might find her enjoying 13.1. After customers are taken care of, she makes sure our bra wall is looking healthy and orders our apparel. When not at the store she is kept busy being an amazing mom of two, coaching youth runners and organizing track meets.
Tim has been working with us since November of 2007. He is one of our two full time employees and when he’s not fitting customers he spends his time helping organize races and ordering Superfeet and shoes, all while entertaining the staff and keeping them laughing. When he’s not at the store Tim doesn’t know what he likes to do and so we’ve come to the conclusion Fleet Feet is the most exciting thing that ever happened to him. Oh, and he likes going to concerts.
Michael rejoined us in August of 2009 after leaving us to go to school, in San Luis Obispo. He is currently attending Solano Community College taking criminal justice classes and hoping to eventually transfer to Sacramento State University. He has taken the nutrition station over since coming back and makes sure we don’t run out of double latte Powerbar gels which seem to be a favorite ‘round these parts. Michael ran track and cross country through high school and then for American River College. He used to be the fastest runner at the store but since moving and coming back he feels more comfortable in the gym rather than putting in the ridiculous number of miles he had to run for track and cross country.
Ashley is our other full time employee and has been working here since February of 2006. She is in charge of our website, e-mail newsletter and running groups, as well as keeping our sock wall looking fabulous. After a parade of injuries she switched from motion control to stability shoes and finally crossed the finish line of her first marathon July of 2009 and is now training for the Napa marathon in March 2010. Outside of fleet feet she teaches piano and is working towards a BA in Deaf Studies at Sac State, as well as finding time to hang out with her boyfriend. You’d be hard pressed to find a minute in her schedule that isn’t already filled.
Kayli started with us in June of 2009. She wants to run a half marathon and is currently helping coach our half group while she is working towards that goal. She is taking classes at Solano Community College in hopes of one day becoming a nurse. Whenever her air-force husband is not deployed, she spends as much of her time as she can with him having fabulous adventures.
Allison is our newest addition and started in September of 2009. She is excelling at the fit process and loves the challenge of trying to find the right shoe. She qualified for Olympic trials a few years ago and as an elite athlete she keeps us all motivated to keep running with her training of over 100 miles a week. When she is not working (or running) she spends time with her husband and 4-year-old son.
